writing a poem in 1 hour is extremely easy.

writing a good poem in 1 hour is extremely hard.

and since i had to squeeze this one in for valentine's day, you know which of the statements holds true for this one.

Sunset on the Beach

As we sit here on secluded, soft sands,
My fingers dancing through your silky hair,
We watch the sun set as we hold hands –
Quiet thoughts of love fill the evening air.
Your skin is dreamily supple and smooth,
Dead gorgeous right down to your heart,
Your kiss has the power to calm and sooth,
So much that I fear the day we part.
Then slowly, silently, I put my face near yours
To make magic with that special connection,
Loves like ours could go on for hours,
For it produces the strangest sensation.
So even when I look in your lifeless eyes,
I still believe love has not passed me by.

now wasn't that a fitting end to v-day?

and now that the twisted poem is out of the way, let's go back to a more innocent time of "emo poetry" shall we? (another day of course. no more gas in the tank for tonight.)

edit: valentine's day celebration on friday was really good.

girls are so so sweet, so much so it puts me to shame for not preparing anything for friday. i must make up for it next year.

og lunch at pizza hut! where we pretended the 101 roses jolyn got was a real person and gave it pepsi and soup to drink (liquid diet you see). =)

also funny because we saw leon's ez-link card, talked a lot of rubbish (and even more after i had to leave. for math soc urgh ><), and had a lot of syrup added to leon's ice lemon tea. (among the other things which happened along the way, such as having to carry those 101 roses. people looked at me like never before, i can tell you that.)

love you guys at HH06! have a happy valentine's day! although this will be too late. ><

not too much work this weekend. just a math tutorial and an econs article to find, thankfully. (must remember.)

but seeing how the new timetable goes, more work will come next week.

but that's school for you. heh.

I stopped to rest at 11:19 PM
