ok people. time for an update.

last saturday was spent out at dhoby ghaut! had lots of fun with the ncc peeps at sakae (zaw and the lunch/lan saga, nelson and the weird guessing game...), lots of laughs and the only sad thing was that so few people from our batch were there.

ah well another time i guess.

another time to meet up is probably also because they would like to rematch with me in a pool game (i'd be more than glad. =D) after... a most satisfying time in the concorde (formerly the meridien) pool place.

and not all pool places are sleazy, gangster-ish places, so yay for concorde.

monday was also spent out. also in the orchard area.

went to school first to settle some school stuff before going out to lunch!

lunch was at wheelock place with an ex-classmate (from pri school) and our ex-teacher ms cheng! just came back from hongkong apparently, and she remembers us like we were in her class yesterday. (she likes to call me bahroooooooooooooooooo. ><)

so lunch was spent at a japanese place (again. this one was expensive though) and yeah, it was a really good 2 hours just talking about stuff in general.

we really must meet again! board game cafe hehe. =D

but then after our teacher left things started to go a little bit pear-shaped.

on a sidenote, it seems like A LOT of people i know are falling/have fallen in love left, right and centre. as if there were a shortage of beautiful girls on this planet.

(ok maybe there are. depends how you define beauty though. theo this may be blog post material!)

and i am utterly incompetent around people. especially females. that monday outing showed it pretty clearly.

so maybe i should pick up a few skills from them so i won't be so disadvantaged.

ok i'm JOKING. you know i am.

right?

MOVING ON.

tuesday and wednesday were spent doing nothing as usual. but thursday was pretty packed.

went to school early in the morning to play soccer (ohyes.) with what i thought would be 20+ 4K people, but in the end theodore, shanzhi, shanquan, jianxiong, danieltay and kristian were the only people around before i had to leave.

still it was good just touching the ball again. and getting (some of) my confidence back.

but i am terribly out of shape. i played for barely 20 minutes and i was already feeling the strain. big time.

gosh i'll never survive the cage if 1) i do go and 2) i don't work on it.

so yes that sheds some light on my old pm. =)

after that i went off to join some 4A people for a movie outing/birthday celebration! (happy birthday jaryl if you're reading this!) the movie was pretty ok i guess, except that sh... (one of my many "accidental" slips of the tongue) was rather late. but in the end we didn't miss anything but crummy old ads, so yeah. =)

and lunch, for the record, was japanese. yet again.

heh what happened next as we were commuting to dhoby ghaut (where i revisited the lovely pool place of concorde) was most interesting.

it also proves how small singapore is.

as we were leaving orchard for dhoby ghaut we saw shoujian! out to meet some frienda apparently. what a pleasant surprise.

but that wasn't the end - at dhoby ghaut i saw shenghao! strangely enough around the same area where we had gone out on saturday. and he was there to fix his phone, not to play pool, although i was, so i was seen to have lied about the regularity of my visits to pool parlours.

on a sidenote, i am really itching to play pool with someone now. anyone.

pool was fairly exciting, as usual - as you can guess from the tagboard nicchee and i thrashed queen slut and birthday boy 8-0 (although they claimed to have won 2 racks, but either way...).

and after that there was even time to go out for dinner (with my parents) and watch some tv (don't forget the lyrics is strangely appealing! and i actually know some of the lyrics up there even if i don't listen to a lot of songs) before stoning at the com and typing this word-heavy post with NO PEEKZHURS. DARN.

ok must camwhore more. but doesn't that mean i'll have to put a cross in:

ah well. but reading further on...

which reminds me, because soon my eyes will disappear from my face permanently. MUST WORK ON IT. (amanda my eyes remind me of yours!)
