and suddenly things all around me are looking up!

ok that was just a random update to keep you all excited.

gah i'm not thinking and blogging straight.

today is the last really stressful day of term.

somewhat happy that aem's ended (it's been eating up my entire tuesday afternoon timeslot for 1 term already). no more major events or assignments to pass up, so that's good.

but somehow i don't feel as relieved as i should be.

like i know there are still things i've got to get through before the holidays are here - and even then there are so many things to do.

apcg. english biography. ss documentary. english bookclub. cip 2nd needs analysis. showcase portfolio. rl r&r. catching up with maths and bio work. house stuff (hopefully i can be involved in dramafeste). while still leaving time for personal activities.

it's going to be one of the busiest holidays yet.

oh well it really is true. there's never a dull moment.

a few days ago i was telling one of my friends on msn that i had this ability to recharge myself really quickly.

there were times in term 1 (when i had to juggle 4-5 commitments week in, week out) and in term 2 (where i had the commitments and an increased workload) where i thought i really needed to just take a break for a while.

i remember one instance in particular. being the psgm head, it was a battle to keep churning out session summaries and trying to get all the psls to be ready for the psgms. it wasn't easy, but i managed to get the basic job done (at the expense of sleep - i think i slept at around 1-2 almost every day in term 1).

during the orientation camp and the preparation leading up to it, i seemed to be ready for everything. mrs maas told me (and zong yi i think) that we should be named the most enthusiastic helpers for the orientation.

i think my attitude then towards being a psl is quite similar to being an apcg facilitator now. =)

but it's not easy to always keep the enthusiasm level high. but somehow i think i did a good job of maintaining it at an acceptable level, and i didn't really take many breaks. and after a while i was ready and good to go again.

i'm not so sure about this time though. the only thing i'm really looking forward to now is apcg (and perhaps dramafeste), but even that seems a long way off when i see the things i have to do between now and then.

but i've quoted brian mcknight before, and i still keep them close to my heart.

i'm gonna win.

heard about charles' predicament today, and it's on his blog as well. the poor boy.

he's really such a nice person who deserves all these things, but for them to happen all at the same time is a bit too much to take.

i wouldn't like to be in his position now, deciding between apcg and asian schools (which are both massive events which people would drool over just being given the chance to attend, i'm sure - or maybe i'm just biased).

ok as you might have noticed by now, we all love apcg, and would not think of giving it up for many other things in the world.

and yes we're going to be fantastic friends when this is done. we can all feel it already.

so we really would hate to lose anyone at this point of time.

ah well we'll see how it goes. good luck!

hey everyone!

haven't been blogging for quite some time, but i'm back, and oh boy the last few days have been absolutely wonderful.

firstly (and actually the only thing in this post), APCG APCG APCG. :)

everyone seems to be so hyped up and enthusiastic about it, and i'm not surprised.

because when you take 25 ri boys and 25 rgs girls and put them in a room, things just take off by themselves.

especially when the people who were chosen are all so fun-loving and hyper and (i hereby run out of adjectives to describe the fun we have had).

this has really been a priceless experience so far - not just what we learn in terms of content, but what we feel and our interactions with each other.

and me shoujian juanmin cheryl jeanhui amanda and elizabeth had a super awesome imba time tonight - gossiping for 1 hour about all kinds of relationships.

like we said, it's going to be a very interesting 2009 in rjc indeed. xD

and we've got more time together ahead of us.

and like we said, the only real thing we could improve is that we work as a group of 50 and get to know everyone else, not as 5 groups of 10. it really bonds us so much quicker and perhaps better.

but other than that we're happy. we've been happy since the start.

and this is also why i (and i'm sure many fellow apcg people would agree) love raffles. the people here are simply second to none. =)

under the advice of a few friends, i have decided to take a sabbatical. (sounds familiar doesn't it?)

partly because of the same old reasons.

ok make that fully.

but don't expect to see me around too often, my loyal readers.

it feels like i'm standing at the speaker's corner already.

it's times like this where taking less subjects comes in handy.

but it's also times like this where i wish i could just do things better.

...

in related news, this blog is (half-)dead.
